Conquest Resource Pack 1.12 Overview
Conquest Resource Pack 1.12 and 1.11.2 is a pack that’s perfect for players who love John Smith’s pack. This is because quite a few of the textures available in this resource pack was taken from the latter. So, if you’ve used John Smith’s before, don’t be surprised if the wooden planks look familiar. However, there is so much more to Conquest than just being a rip-off or duplicate of another pack. It does deliver unique textures that the developers created specifically to it. Over 60% of the visuals that you see from Conquest are its own. Some examples of this pack’s textures include iron bars, tables, and torches.
Conquest Resource Pack is a medieval themed pack so expect to see rustic graphics that are reminiscent of the middle-ages. If you’re a fan of this genre, then you are in for a treat. You get dirty and rough looking textures that might appear gloomy or dark to some but certainly a work of art for other folks like you. The texturing and lighting used in the pack are consistent, so even after you smelt or craft new items, they will still look gritty and grainy, which is perfect for the theme of Conquest.
Conquest Resource Pack operates on a 32×32 resolution so even an average computer can run it without any fps or system issues. But to get the optimum performance from this resource pack, you will need to have Optifine and MCPatcher installed on your system as well. These two programs though will require beefier equipment. Conquest is a fairly new resource pack and is still not 100% complete. What this means is that you can expect to get frequent updates as the developers are continuously working on it. There’s also no need to worry as even if it’s still a work in progress, it delivers quite good textures that can enhance your gaming experience.
